I Regret Not Giving My Mother A Grandchild: Ahuofe Patri
Actress Ahuofe Patri has expressed her regret at not giving her mother a grandchild before her passing.
The actress, born Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, recently buried her mother who had longed to see her daughter have a child.
Ahuofe Patri shared that her mother had given birth to her at an early age, which made it difficult for people to recognize her as her mother. Nevertheless, the bond they shared was strong, and they did everything together.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Ahuofe Patri revealed that her mother’s death was a huge loss, and she misses her every day.
She went on to say that if she had known her mother was not going to live for long, she would have considered having a child earlier to fulfill her mother’s wish of seeing a grandchild.
“I shared with her my problems and she also told me everything I needed to know. We shared a strong bond, and the love that existed between us was so deep.
I am never going to find another mother who cared so much for me because she was everything to me,” she shared.
The actress further thanked her friends who showed up for her mother’s final funeral rites, which took place on March 4 at the Tesano Police Depot in Accra. She expressed her belief that her mother is resting well because she was a good woman with a pure heart.
Away from her personal life, Ahuofe Patri also revealed that her dream is to become a producer and allow aspiring actors to showcase their talents.
The actress, who is known for her roles in movies such as “Kalybos in China” and “Amakye and Dede,” has been in the Ghanaian movie industry for several years and continues to make waves with her talent.
Ahuofe Patri’s regret about not giving her mother a grandchild is a poignant reminder of the importance of family and the desire to fulfill the wishes of loved ones before they pass on.
