Mentioning Artiste Name While Playing Their Songs Is Key Father AB To Diijay Taifa.
One of the finest educationists in Ekumfi, Mr. Abraham Armah who was recently appointed as a President of ECAC has raised his concern about how the host of “Ekumfi Hour” DJ Taifa handles artists on air when playing their songs. He bitterly lamented on this when he noticed artists’ names are not mentioned when their songs are played on the “Ekumfi Music Hour” show on Coastal 94.9 FM.
According to Mr. Abraham Armah who is also known as Father AB, stressed that during “Ekumfi Music Hour”, listeners wanted to know the names of the artists when the songs were being played on air. When a song is played with an unknown name it becomes very difficult to identify who owns the song and it is hard to access the song on media platforms if they would want to download it. And such airplay doesn’t make any difference in the artists’ career
Father AB added that the only way to avert this situation is that the host of “Ekumfi Music Hour” must ensure he mentions the artist names when playing their songs to help the fans and the listeners know the artists and their respective songs. “Ekumfi Music Hour” is a radio program hosted on Coastal FM to promote and support Ekumfi artists and their products to reach a higher level.
Ending his speech, he pleads with the host of the “Ekumfi Music Hour” program, DJ Taifa, and the entire production team to work according to the demand of ECAC.
